SHOP
Supporters Helping Older People
This service is designed with independence in mind, for peace of mind. The team of supporters at Better Lives provide a professional, personalised service so that you can feel in control and able to manage practical day-to-day tasks in the way you want to. This programme in particular focuses on shopping and cleaning for the older people. There is a small cost to this service provided. To find out more click here.
CORE
Companions – Options – Respect – Excellence
CORE is an extension of the SHOP service, providing practical support for people in their own home. This programme focuses on One-to-One Supporters that aim to build relationships with people and help them to regain confidence in getting back to some social activities, or spend quality time with them in their homes.
TASK
Just ask TASK
This programme is designed to link older people with reliable local traders from a wide range of different trades. Better Lives aim to provide up to 3 traders from their directory for the jobs needed, enabling you to acquire a number of quotes before deciding which trader to hire for the job.
