Tucked away upstairs is our wellbeing room, a fabulous, peaceful space for yoga and similar activities. There are a range of classes available, please see below for details and don't hesitate to contact Chris if you have any questions.

Description of classes

Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga is something of a generic term. We use it to describe a class in which you can expect to move through a variety of standing, seated and restorative postures with the aim of improving flexibility, strength and balance.
These classes are open to beginners, providing they are able to get up and down from the floor quite easily, and we hope they provide a good mixture of challenge and relaxation
Chair Yoga
For those who might find our Hatha Yoga class a little too challenging initially, we recommend Chair Yoga. This is a slower-paced class where there is no need to get up and down from the floor. Perhaps you're just finding your way back into exercise after a period of inactivity - this could be the class for you. Working with a chair allows people to safely develop a yoga practice no matter what their starting point. Nevertheless, as with hatha yoga, the aim is to improve flexibility, strength and balance, with plenty of time given to relaxation.
Please note: These classes may include a small number of simple standing poses which you are encouraged to skip if not appropriate.
